Preparation
&
Integration

Preparation and integration are essential pillars of responsible psychedelic medicine use. Unlike recreational experiences, intentional journeys with substances like psilocybin can be profoundly transformative, often bringing to the surface deeply rooted emotions, trauma, or insights. Taking preparation and integration seriously signals respect for the medicine, for the self, and for the mystery of the process. It also provides safety, emotional containment, and continuity—especially important when navigating challenging or unfamiliar psychological territory. Ultimately, these bookends—what comes before and after—are what elevate a psychedelic experience from an isolated event into a transformational process.
Preparation
This is done up to a week prior the session over an e-meeting platform.
R555 per hour.
Preparation is not just about logistics—it’s about cultivating the mindset, emotional readiness, and clear intention to enter an altered state with openness and respect. By engaging in preparatory conversations, reflection, and mindfulness practices, individuals begin building the inner scaffolding that supports both the journey and what follows. It helps reduce fear, increase trust in the process, and align expectations realistically.
In a preparation conversation, you will be asked to think through your intentions for the medicine session, or questions and issues you may want to delve into more deeply. We will also help to put a few mental safeguards in place for your work with the medicine so that your psychological wellbeing is placed in the safest place possible.
Integration

Equally important is integration—the process of making sense of and embodying what was experienced. Psychedelic insights, no matter how profound, can fade or even become confusing without conscious follow-through.
Integration involves translating these often nonverbal or symbolic realisations into real-life shifts: new habits, healing conversations, emotional releases, or changed perspectives. Without it, the journey risks becoming a fleeting high rather than a catalyst for true growth. Integration may include journaling, therapy, breath work, creative expression, nature immersion, or simply talking to someone who understands.
Whether someone seeks healing, clarity, spiritual connection, or personal development, the real magic lies not only in what is seen during the journey, but in how that vision is carried forward into everyday life. As the saying goes, “The ceremony begins after the ceremony ends.” Integration is where the seeds planted begin to bloom.
